According to “Simple Marketing for Smart People” by authors, Billy Broas and Tiago Forte,
“Marketing is teaching.”
And our chances of the message being believed will increase if our claim is backed up with proof and evidence.
The advice that we should provide proof and evidence for our claim may not be new, but almost their entire book is dedicated for one message. Therefore, it’s easy to understand. I am grateful I could read and listen to their book and audiobook.
And Mr. Broas and Mr. Forte are following their own advice.
The book has clear message and examples are many and interesting.
For instance, they tell us a real story of a nearly broke carpet cleaner became a million-dollar carpet cleaning business owner by sharing his knowledge to the customers.
